Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft landed following standard protocol and everyone onboard, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a press officer stated in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This incident isn't the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet carrying a senior official has encountered technical problems.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane ferrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was forced to turn back to Washington after encountering a technical issue.
